I need to see a pic of his face....... I may know who this is....

Does he have a star and a snip? the star being "shield shaped" and the snip touching both nostrils (wide)?

I'm not sure if that back white is high enough, it's been a while.

BTW - this guy I know would be 8 this year

Slim Jim is about 15.2 hands and is around 18 years old or 18ish. as you can tell he is very thin but he is the one who trotted out to the trailer, made a left turn while trotting and trotted into the trailer. Slim Jim as pulled a buggy for a long time and has learned if you do not get up and go , the indoor parking space will be gone. This cute Gelding has places to go and people to see.

Jessie had us put blinkers on him as he seemed nervous without them, and I must say he rode very well. He is not a beginner horse but there is not an once of "I want to get out of work" in him. Slim Jim did canter on both leads even if it was a little quick. This horse is cute , cute, cute. I hope someone who has a bunch or even one "pitchfork Princess" will consider this horse.

This is a good but game horse who has never missed a day of work and put 110% into his work everytime. http://saddlebredrescue.com/jmolback/Videos/Slim_Jim.wmv

Love Slim Jim, he is very pretty and love this head and neck.

The pictures in the pasture are so cute. Thanks for sharing. After all of that hard work he has done, it made me cry to see him living it up.

He is my current favorite. If I win the lottery....(budget was already tanked before Terry was admitted to the hospital...even with health insurance we will have hefty out of pocket expenses, so definitely would need to win the lottery to take on another mouth to feed....)

This video shows that he is all about going to work and trying to please. He stays to the rail very well, and corners well at the trot. Like he has been ridden indoor all of his life. Was he gaited do you think? He almost looks like he wants to rack or slow gait. Very sweet. When his hind end gets built up again, he will be even better. Good luck Mr. S. Jim.

I don't know why, but I can't get the video link to work! I have sattelite, not dial up and did not have any trouble with the wonderful video of Nick--it just says the web page cannot be found. I tried just clicking on it, and I tried copying and pasting it. What am I doing wrong???

Ahhh he looks like he is trying so hard to be a good boy and do just as he is asked, with a little refresher course he is gonna be super!! It looks like all the ingredients are there, he just needs to remember how to put them all together, and with a willing attitude it won't take long.

What a lovely video of a lovely horse! I've never even ridden a gaited horse, but it did look to me like he was doing something at times that was neither fish nor fowl but something with 4 beats. Maybe he Rackydoodles!!!

Julie rode Slim Jim today and had a very good ride. This horse is very well behaved under saddle. Too much energy for a beginner but not a difficult ride. He is one that would thrive with his own person. He has been here a long time and deserves to find his forever home soon. Please keep him in mind everyone, surely someone must know of someone who would love this guy.
