This morning we tried out the new ones and I can report they were good ones. We called this mare Olive, no particular reason just thought it fit her. She is 3 yrs old and bay with a cute star.
Olive scored well on her evaluation. She was good to work around and stood calmly at the mounting block. She worked well at a WTC and rode like she had possibly been gaited but we didn't delve into that today.
This filly is a very kind good thinking horse, a little green but that is to be expected in a baby. Nealia and I both really liked this filly.
She did have a slaughter sticker on her so she defiantly had a close call. What a shame if this nice young horse had gone to slaughter.
We are headed to a show tomorrow with 28 horses so we will not be getting pictures this week.

Olive is sick. Young horses do not fare well on the broker/auction circut. We will wait to take pictures until she is feeling better.

Olive is feeling better. Today I rode her again. She was all in all a good girl. She was a little humpy at first, forgivable for a three year old that had not been ridden in a while. She is a smart girl, knows what lead she is supposed to be on at the canter. She wanted to buck a little at the start of canter but got over it. Olive was pretty much a normal green three year old. This does seem like a nice filly. She is very sweet.

Do we get pictures soon now that she is feeling better? This is one I have been eagerly waiting to see.

We're going to try tomorrow. Hopefully it will be a quiet day unlike today.

Awe, she is so pretty! She looks like she wants to carry herself nicely and keep her head in a nice place. She also looks happy. Does she have papers? Thanks for the pics!

She is just lovely! I really like the multiple outdoor pictures you're posting on the treasure. They really show off the horses nicely.

Classy photos, and why was this pretty little thing almost slaughter bound? What is wrong with people? She's a pretty girl. I think O Live fits now.

If she is three, then my money's on ASHA #144558 Thunderlite, out of a Supreme Heir daughter, bought by a guy in PA in October 2009. Registry lists markings as irregular star and left hind.
