What a pretty young mare! She looks like she's recovered well... I think those are dapples I see?? My fingers are crossed she recovers her identity as well.

This is a super nice little mare. I LOVE the way she thinks. Anyone looking for a youngster who will finish out easy don't hesitate on this gal.

We tried to get shoes on her today but her feet are just too short. We have to keep her in for a couple weeks on soft ground then Chuck will try again.

Bumping up Olive. She is a dead ringer for Prom Queen, who was born and lives at the stable where I board. Could they have the same sire, perhaps? How is Olive, lately?

Olive's feet have grown out and she is no longer sore. Today I rode her after she has been laid off for a couple months. She behaved very well, went right off and was a good girl. This is a very good thinking smart young mare with no issues under saddle. She is very sweet and likes people. If you want a young, unspoiled, low milage horse here it is.

Just my opinion, but I think she looks like she could have some Morgan blood in her. Some of the Amish and Mennonites love crossing Saddlebreds with Morgans.

I thought that as I looked at her pictures, too, sdlbrdlvr. However, I know a registered ASB that looks as Morganny as this one, if not more so.

She's lovely, whatever she is.

She reminds me of Apache Sweetheart, Apache Dawn and Apache Princess in body build, especially Sweetheart and Dawn. Also a bit like Toby.

Nice video, too.

Oh, I realize that Saddlebreds can have many different looks. I used to have a little gelding that people asked me all the time if he was an Arabian. I was always proud to respond, "Nope, he's a registered Saddlebred." :)

Wow, she almost looks more relaxed outside than inside! What a wonderful, pretty mare!

That is pretty amazing. Thanks SBR for getting her and training her. Now we need to help get her a new home.

Olive has become a wonderful young mare. She has had a rough time since her arrival. First she was ill and then we struggled to improve her feet and get enough foot on her to hold shoes. She is now healthy and sound ( with front shoes) and we have been able to work her regularly for a few weeks. What a great filly this is! She is willing, and smart and has become a very nice ride.

Olive reminds me of a SB gelding I rode decades ago. His name was Tony The Tiger. She is a cute mare.
