I don't hsve time to look, but he has almost identicle markings to our Heir to Champagne x Homecoming Queen lesson horse. I'd look at Heir as the possible sire.

I don't suppose he has a belly spot? Wind Sport went through TSE Fall of 06. Listed owner I believe is a amish buyer.

I've never tried to research on ASHA but will give it a try. Thanks for rescuing and welcome to SBR, Dianne B He is pretty!!!!

Note to SBR...did I just commit a CCS faux pas or is it okay to research?

I also sent you a PM with a possible match of a '99 Champagne Fizz son(based only on markings - last registered owner was in KY, as of 2007). This is description of markings:

STAR, STRIPE, CONNECTED SNIP TO LOWER LIP
RIGHT FRONT SOCK HIGHER IN BACK, LEFT FR
AND BOTH HIND STOCKINGS, WHITE.

Sent you full info in PM...

Any one is welcome to search, we only ask that you don't post the results on this forum. Send your results by PM or email to the appropriate person. Pat or me if it's an SBR horse, or in this case the OP.

No belly spot ,and the leg markings described for the Champagne Fizz horse do match, but I would say #58 has a definate blaze, not a connected strip(though I'm guessing it was narrower when he was a fluffy baby),and it does continue under his lips...Thanks for the ideas though! He is doing well...his bowed tendon is even looking way better with his r&r routine

I don't know much about this research stuff but I do want to make a comment that Angelina is registered with a stripe and a snip but she clearly has a star too, it is just not noted on her papers. So keep that in mind while searching. Good luck with him, he is beautiful!
