There is a prayer chain on Trot.org that is very popular, about 100 pages about now.
I would like to start one asking for prayers for my oldest brother William. He was hospitalized on Thursday, with cancer in his throat. If he doesn't respond to chemo and radiation therapy, he could possibly lose his vocal cords and his toungue. If that happens, he would be on a feeding tube the rest of his life. Many of you have already said prayers for William.
I would also ask you to say prayers for Mackie, as a difficult decision has been made for him, and his Mom is in great distress.
God Bless you Ann, and thank you for your prayers for my family.

I will keep your brother in my thoughts and prayers. It must be very difficult, not knowing how things will go for him.

Also, so sad that Mackie did not get his identity back in time, but we could still try. There is nothing to say to Ann to comfort her right now. It's so hard...hugs and gentle thoughts going to him and his people.

My prayers go out to Karen, one of the most wonderful people I have had opportunity of corresponding with since joining Trot and SBR, and her brother William.

I am so soory to hear about the beautiful Mackey, my thoughts and prayers go out to Ann during this very difficult time.

Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers for Mackie, especially Karen, who is so very generous with her time and wisdom. He needs a miracle before tomorrow. I have tried to be the best steward of this gift of God, but it seems Mackie is headed for a heavenly healing rather than an earthly one.

Karen, I will be praying for William and your family. God is able to do all things beyond what we can think to ask or imagine. May He give healing, peace, wisdom and comfort.

God knows the heart and needs of each and every one, and may He bless you all.
Ann

Karen, after only chatting to you online a few times, I feel as though you are a friend, please know that my heart goes out to you, and your brother during this uncertain time....

To Ann, Mackie, and all those who love them, although there is nothing we can say to ease what you are going through, you are all in my thoughts, and I am praying for that miracle you all need...

Thoughts and prayers to Karen, William, Ann, Mackie, and all those who love them.

Thoughts and prayers to all who have asked and for those who haven't asked.

I have never once known anyone to say that they should not have released a friend. Someday we will understand how that communication works as now we just know it works.

Karen, thank you for starting this forum, it might ought to be a main topic on it's own.

Yesterday the barn at Stepping Stone Farm in Moody, Alabama burned to the ground. They were able to save 10 horses but 8 were lost. Courtney Huguley had to be pulled out of the barn as she tried to save all the horses. Please pray for her, her family and her barn family and boarders who lost their horses.

Prayers for Indisgirl, I pray you rest well tonight.

Hope and prayers for Willian and his family who are keeping watch.

God Speed Mackie if you are to leave this place for one of no pain and endless pastures. And know your mom, Ann loves you so very much to let you go..

Lastly, tonight, I shed tears for each of you in any pain, and for the lost equines of yesterday's fire and the families that grieve for them. And pray that you will have peace and joy again. +++

My brother William is at home, and doing very well. He is almost done with the chemo/radiation treatments. He has been able to drive himself to his treatments, and to the pharmacy, with Mom along for company.
My nieces are showing at Dixie Cup this weekend, and my other brother John took Mom to the show, so she could watch them ride. Rachael was kind enough to drop by and see William, on her way home for work. I just got off the phone with Rachael, and we had a great conversation, and I can't say enough about the kindness of strangers.
I've never met Rachael, except through this board, and some email conversations. She took the time, to go and visit my very bored brother, because I couldn't be there.
Rachael, you get , and my thanks and prayers.
